Welcoming Charlotte Warren and Isabella Lloyd to Unit Chambers
Unit Chambers is delighted to welcome Charlotte Warren and Isabella Lloyd, who join us as pupils from 1st September 2026.
Following a highly competitive pupillage recruitment process, we’re pleased to welcome two new members to the Unit Chambers team as they begin their journey at the Family Law Bar.
Both Charlotte and Isabella bring valuable legal experience, strong academic backgrounds and a clear commitment to family law. We’re looking forward to supporting them throughout their pupillage and seeing their practices develop over the coming year.
Welcoming Charlotte
Charlotte joins Unit Chambers following the completion of her Bar Training Course at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she achieved a Distinction.
She previously studied History at the University of York, graduating with a 2:1, before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law at Manchester Metropolitan University, also achieving a Distinction. Charlotte was awarded an Inner Temple Exhibition Scholarship in 2024.
Charlotte has completed several mini pupillages, marshalled in a range of courts and also volunteered with Citizens Advice North Staffordshire, giving her valuable experience of working with and supporting members of the public.
Recognised as caring, compassionate and hardworking, Charlotte brings strong communication and organisational skills to her pupillage. Outside of the law, she enjoys playing hockey, running, and watching rugby and cricket.
Welcoming Isabella
Isabella joins Unit Chambers following three years working as a Family and Childcare Paralegal at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, where she assisted with cases across the North-West and Midlands.
Her experience spans both public and private children matters, including care proceedings, domestic abuse proceedings and PLO meetings. She has drafted witness statements, taken instructions from clients and advocated on behalf of clients, as well as working on complex cases involving issues including non-accidental injury, fabricated or induced illness, sexual abuse, domestic abuse and honour-based violence.
Isabella was awarded Paralegal/Trainee of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards in 2025, recognising her work and commitment to client care.
She graduated with a First Class Law LLB from the University of Liverpool before completing the Bar Training Course at BPP Law School Manchester. She also holds the Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification, reflecting her interest in providing an accessible and person-centred service to neurodivergent clients.
Alongside her legal experience, Isabella has delivered domestic abuse presentations to organisations supporting victims and survivors and has been involved in initiatives including the Manchester Legal Walk and the Middle Temple Mentorship Scheme.
Outside of the legal sector, Isabella enjoys reading, bookbinding, baking and is a self-confessed cheese enthusiast.
