  • Claire is a well-respected barrister with over two decades of experience on the Northern and North Wales circuits.

    Claire began her practice with a mix of Family (private and public law) and Criminal law for 7 years before developing her Criminal practice further for 14 years. Claire defended and prosecuted a wide range of serious criminal cases. Over the 21 years of practice, Claire has developed a substantial and effective tool kit of knowledge, advocacy skills, and client/witness care skills.

  • Since joining Chambers, Claire has developed an established public and private law practice where she has represented Local Authorities, parents, children, and interveners. With a background in both Family and Criminal law, Claire's expertise lies in her high level of client care and management, the managing of contested hearings employing her sharp forensic approach and her honed negotiating skills.
