Amjad is a family law barrister specialising in public and private children law. Known for his calm and measured advocacy, meticulous preparation, and empathetic client care, he brings a forensic yet human approach to every case.

His practice spans the full spectrum of children law, including complex and sensitive cases involving non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, deprivation of liberty and secure accommodation, domestic abuse, child abduction, child relocation, honour-based violence, neglect, and substance misuse.

Originally called to the Bar in 2018, Amjad completed pupillage under the supervision of Lisa Edmunds at Unit Chambers, where he is now a Consultant Barrister and has become a skilled and trusted advocate that has developed a balanced and growing practice acting for local authorities, parents, guardians, and directly instructed private clients. Amjad is recognised for refining complex issues into focused, persuasive submissions as well as forensic cross-examination that resonates with judges and clients alike.
